During this relatively short period, there have been four detentions of DNV-classed ships due to fire-safety-related deficiencies as listed on the next page in tables A (detainable items) and B (non-detainable items).

A checklist was released by the Tokyo and Paris MoUs containing 12 main focus areas. Based on this list, DNV distributed an extended checklist with some additional details and comments that it advised paying special attention to.
